“Il Sole Skær è nato in un momento molto speciale della mia vita, mentre aspettavo nostro figlio, che è per metà danese e per metà italiano.
Volevo creare qualcosa di lussuoso, puro e delicato, qualcosa che trasmettesse la sensazione di entrambi i luoghi che plasmano la nostra famiglia: la Scandinavia e il Sud Italia, e che unisse la freschezza del Nord e il calore del Sud."
"Volevo la fresca brezza scandinava e il caldo sole del Sud Italia racchiusi in una bottiglia, sapendo di applicare qualcosa di puro sul mio corpo per idratare, migliorare la luminosità e lasciare la pelle morbida come la seta anziché appiccicosa.
Così ho iniziato a cercare i migliori ingredienti da entrambi i luoghi, e Il Sole Skær è il risultato.
Il nome “Il Sole Skær” è anch'esso una combinazione, un giocoso mix di danese e italiano. “Il sole” significa “the sun” in italiano, e “skær” significa “shine” in danese.

La composizione
Al cuore di Il Sole Skær c'è un incontro di paesaggi.
Dagli uliveti baciati dal sole del Cilento proviene l'olio d'oliva dorato, ricco e rigenerante, che porta con sé il calore e la profondità del Sud Italia. Questo è esaltato da note agrumate di limone e bergamotto, che catturano la luce del Mediterraneo.
Dal Nord, olivello spinoso e rosa canina portano un diverso tipo di luminosità. Freschi, nitidi e vibranti, richiamano le coste scandinave, dove le rose selvatiche crescono tra le dune e l'aria porta una quieta chiarezza.
Il ginepro finlandese aggiunge una sottile nota boschiva, pulita e radicante, mentre la camomilla italiana ammorbidisce la composizione con una delicata calma.
Insieme, questi ingredienti formano un equilibrio di calore e freschezza, luce e profondità. Dalla texture setosa e a rapido assorbimento, l'olio si fonde senza sforzo nella pelle, lasciandola morbida, nutrita e naturalmente luminosa senza appiccicosità o pesantezza.
Mentre la fragranza si dispiega, evoca paesaggi lontani, l'aria frizzante di una costa scandinava e il dolce calore del sole italiano.
Prodotto con oli certificati biologici al 100%. Nessun profumo sintetico. Conservato con vitamina E naturale. Gli oli essenziali sono usati in concentrazioni molto basse.
Modo d'uso: Applicare sul corpo come desiderato, mattina o sera. Solo per uso esterno. Evitare il contatto con gli occhi. Una volta aperto, può durare 12–18 mesi.

Jojoba Oil
Balancing & Skin-Mimicking
Jojoba oil moisturizes the skin through a unique dual action: on the one hand, it mixes with sebum and forms a thin, non-greasy, semi-occlusive layer; on the other hand, it absorbs into the skin through pores and hair follicles then diffuses into the intercellular spaces of the outer layer of the skin to make it soft and supple.
Sweet Almond Oil
Nourishing & Softening
Similar to other plant oils, it is loaded with skin-nourishing fatty acids and contains several other skin goodies such as antioxidant vitamin E and vitamin B versions. Its great for its smoothing, softening and moisturizing properties.
Apricot Kernel Oil
Lightweight Moisturizing
The emollient plant oil coming from the kernel (the seed of the seed) of the delicious apricot fruit. It contains antioxidant vitamin E and nourishing fatty acids and has nourishing and moisturizing properties, ideal for dry skin types. It's easily absorbed into the skin.
Olive Oil
Antioxidant & Protective
You probably know olive oil from the kitchen as a great and healthy option for salad dressing but it's also a great and healthy option to moisturize and nourish the skin, especially if it's on the dry side. It's loaded with nourishing fatty acids. It also contains antioxidant polyphenols, tocopherols (types of vitamin E) and carotenoids and it's one of the best plant sources of skin-identical emollient.
Sea Buckthorn Oil
Antioxidant & Regenerating
The oil coming from the pulp of the sea buckthorn berry. It has a pretty unique fatty acid composition: 65% is a combination of the rare Omega-7, aka palmitoleic acid and the more common palmitic acid. Fatty acids give the oil nice moisturizing and skin-protecting abilities. It contains the antioxidant superstar, Vitamin E (in multiple forms), antioxidant (and orange color giving) pigments beta-carotene and lycopene, as well as skin-soothing and replenishing beta-sitosterol.
Rosehip Oil
Repairing & Radiant
The oil coming from the seeds of dog-rose, a wild rose species native to Europe - Scandinavia. It's a nice moisturizing and repairing plant oil loaded with skin-nourishing fatty acids. Ideal for all skin types.
Lemon Oil*
Energizing & Brightening
Lemon Peel Essential Oil is extracted from the rind of the lemon used to make refreshing lemonade. It is naturally rich in limonene, the key aromatic compound responsible for its bright, uplifting scent, which makes up the majority of its composition. Il Sole Skær's formulation only a very small amount is used, just 6 drops per blend, making it safe for everyday use, including when exposed to sunlight.

Bright and elegant with a green citrus note, bringing a sense of lightness and Southern Italian warmth.

Chamomile Oil*
Calming & Soothing
Roman chamomile has a soft, sweet, apple-like aroma and is known for its gentle, calming effec. It also contains the biologically active anti-inflammatory components, bisabolol, and chamazulene.
Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E)
Antioxidant & Preservative
Primary fat-soluble antioxidant in our skin. Used in Il Sole Skær's formula as a natural preservative. Protects against UVB rays.
*Essential oils are used in very low concentrations.

The Details
At the base of the glass bottle, you will find a subtle detail of Italian mountains, inspired by the landscapes of the South. A small detail, meant to be noticed over time.
The name Il Sole Skær is a word play and reflects the same meeting of worlds. “Il Sole” means the sun in Italian, while “Skær” is a Danish word for glow or shine.
